A more abstract piece than my usual art – the hummingbird is from a photo I took of the display cabinet at The Natural History museum when I went in December for a day trip with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. The roses are ones that I have had in my house over the last few months – I always try to keep a stock of reference photos to use for future paintings.
